VMC Medical Officer, Technician & Others Eligibility Criteria:
- Education Qualification:
- Medical Officer: Must have a Degree of M.B.B.S. from University established under Central or State Act in India OR Deemed University under U.G.C. Act, 1956 OR Qualification specified in First and Second Schedule of Indian Medical Council (MCI) Act, 1956. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 35 years
- Gynecologist: Must have a Degree of M.B.B.S. from University established under Central or State Act in India OR Deemed University under U.G.C. Act, 1956 OR Qualification specified in First and Second Schedule of India Medical Council (MCI) Act, 1956 AND Must have a degree of M.D/M.S. (Obstetrics and Gynecology) from University established under Central or State Act in India OR equivalent qualification recognized by MCI. OR A degree of DGO ( Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology ) OR P.G. Diploma in Gynecology from University established under Central or State Act in India OR equivalent qualification recognized by MCI. +2 years experience in Government/Owned Managed or controlled / Non- Government Organization Hospital / Trust Hospital. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 35 years
- Pediatrician: Must have a Degree of M.B.B.S. from University established under Central or State Act in India OR Deemed University under U.G.C. Act, 1956 OR Qualification pacified in First and Second Schedule of Indian Medical Council (MCI) Act, 1956 AND Must have a degree of M.D (Pediatrics) from University established under Central or State Act in India OR equivalent qualification recognized by MCI OR A degree of DCH ( Diploma in Child Health ) OR P.G. Diploma in Pediatrics from University established under Central or State Act in India OR equivalent qualification recognized by MCI. + 2 years experience in Government / Owned Managed or Controlled / Non-Government Organization Hospital / Trust Hospital. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.

- Lab Technician: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology or Biochemistry from any University established under Central or State Act in India OR Deemed University under section 3 of U.G.C Act, 1956 OR an equivalent qualification recognized by Government. Diploma in Lab Technician. OR M.L.T Course of Medical Technology. OR One year Medical Technology course from any University established under Central or State Act in India or Deemed University under section 3 of U.G.C. Act, 1956 or an equivalent qualification recognized by Government. Basic Knowledge of Computer as per GCSR (General) Rules, 1967. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.

- Pharmacist: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy from any University established under Central or State Act in India OR Deemed University under section 3 of U.G.C. Act, 1956 OR an equivalent qualification recognized by Government. 2 Years experience As Junior Pharmacist in Government / Government undertaking/Board OR as Dispenser in Hospital or Dispensary OR as Pharmacist or Medical Representative of any Pharmaceutical Company established under the Companies Act, 2013. Basic Knowledge of Computer as per GCSR (General) Rules, 1967. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- Female Health Worker: Have passed Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) Examination or equivalent examination. Have passed Female Health Worker Basic Training Course recognized by Government. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 18 to 25 years
- Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW): H.S.C. (10+2) or its equivalent Examination. Basic Knowledge of computer with CCC, DOEACC certificate or level as prescribed by GCSR Rules, 1967. Govt. recognized One Year M.P.H.W. basic course or Govt. recognized S.I. certificate. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 18 to 26 years
- Staff Nurse: Must have a Degree of Basic B.sc (Nursing from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.) OR Must have a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery obtained from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council/Gujarat Nursing Council or Equivalent Qualification recognized by Government of Gujarat. OR 10 years experience as Auxiliary Midwife or Female Health Worker in Government or Panchayat with above Qualification. Basic Knowledge of computer as per GCSR (General) Rules, 1967. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 40 years
- X-Ray Technician: Degree in Science from any University established under Central or State Act in India OR Deemed University under section 3 of U.G.C. Act, 1956 OR an equivalent qualification recognized by Government. Passed X-ray training course conducted by Government /Govt. recognized institute / recognized Medical College. Basic Knowledge of Computer as per GCSR (General) Rules, 1967. Knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 31 years

- Final Selection will be based on Written test, Physical proficiency test & Interview.
