SP Eligibility Criteria
- Education Qualification:
- GD Constable: Minimum class 10th passed from recognized Board for open candidates as well as for HG candidates.
- Technical Constable: Minimum class 12th passed in PCM.
- Age limit: Minimum & Maximum age limit is 18 to 22 years as on 01/02/2018
- Application fee: Candidates can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Inspector General of Police/Special Branch, Ta-dong, Gangtok and the office of District SSP(North/South/West) on working days till 20th March 2014 on the production of Bank (SBS) Receipt for Rs. 70/- under revenue head 0055-Police-800 other receipts.
SP Selection Process:
- Final selection will be based on:
- Physical Measurement,
- Physical Efficiency/Endurance Test (PET),
- Written Examination &
- Viva-voce.
SP Physical Requirements
- Height:
- 5’3’’ minimum for male
- 5’ min. for female
- Chest:
- 32” min. with min. 2” expansion for male.
- Weight:
- 50 Kgs. min. for male
- 45 Kgs. min. for female
