Educational qualification:

• Sub-Inspector - Degree of Graduation or Higher Secondary School Certificates Exam (10+2), Diploma in Security and Investigation Technology
• Police Constable - Secondary School passed certificates examination
• Lower Division Clerk - Higher Secondary School Certificates with Diploma awarded by State Board of Technical Education
• Laboratory Technician - Bachelor degree in Science
• Laboratory Attendant - 10th passed certificate

Age limit:  Goa police looking candidates who have 20 - 28 years for S.N 01, 18 - 22 years for S.N 02, Maximum 45 years.

Selection process:

• Final selection will be based on written competitive examination

• One question paper (100 questions, 100 marks)

Syllabus for written exam:

• General Knowledge: 25 marks
• General English: 25 marks
• Mathematics: 25 marks
• Logical reasoning: 25 marks
