Educational Qualification:
- Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master's degree level in a relevant subject of the concerned faculty from an Indian University.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC/ICAR and should have published at least one article in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Science, New Delhi) rated journal. For the candidate having Master's degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with one publication in NAAS rated refereed journal for recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor and equivalent in the disciplines in which NET is conducted by ICAR/UGC/CSIR. Essentiality of NET can be waived off for the candidates holding Ph.D. degree provided it has been done with course work and research work prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has at least two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4, on the last date of submission of application. Those candidates with Ph.D. without course work will not qualify for NET exemption.
- The candidate should possess the basic knowledge of computer application and should have passed CCC+ examination of Department of Electronic Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) society. If the candidate has not passed the CCC+ examination, he will have to pass the same during the probation period, failing which his probation period will not be regularized.
Age limit: Below 35 Years
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000/-
Application fee: The general candidates will have to pay Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 750 application fee + Rs. 250 processing fee). There will be no application fee for SC / ST / PH candidate of Gujarat, however they will have to pay Rs. 250/- as processing fee. The application should be submitted online from website http://www.sdau.edu.in after making appropriate payment (applicable as per category applying for) through State Bank of India Collect payment facility (onlinesbi.com only). State Bank of India Collect payment facility (onlinesbi.com only) is providing various options to the candidates for making a payment using following options. Cash payment at SBI Branch / Net Banking through SBI or any Other banks / Debit Card / Credit Card. The charges for making a payment via State Bank of India Collect payment facility would be different as per SBI policy.
Selection Process: The appointments will be made on merit basis from among the select-lists recommended by the Selection Committee and limited to sanctioned posts accorded by the Government to fill-up the number of vacant posts.
How to apply:
- The application should be submitted online from website http://www.sdau.edu.in after paying the processing fee through internet banking through the website http://www.onlinesbi.com. The candidate can also pay the processing fee in cash by downloading the State Bank Collect challan from http://www.onlinesbi.com.
- After Paying the processing fee the form can be filled up online next working day after 02:00 PM.
- The hard copy of the application along with attested copies of certificates, pertaining to the qualifications and experience accompanied with the copy of the bank payment receipt (As per "State Bank Collect" payment made via onlinesbi.com only) should reach to the Registrar, Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University, Sardarkrushinagar -385 506 (Gujarat) before Dt.19/07/2016. The University reserves its right not to fill-in all or any post, if deems necessary.
