- Agriculture Development Officer: 43 Posts
- B.Sc. (Agr.) under four years programme and M.Sc. (Agr.) 2nd Class from a College / Institutions/ University recognized by the State / Central Government / ICAR
- Desirable: M.Sc. (Agr.) 1st Class or above.
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
- Age: 45 years and below
- Professor (Electrical Engineering): 01 Post
- BE / B. Tech. and ME / M. Tech. in the relevant branch of Engineering with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B. Tech. or ME / M. Tech. and Ph.D. or equivalent in the appropriate discipline.
- Post Ph.D. publication and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable.
- Age: 45 years and below
- Assistant Professor (Electrical Engineering): 02 Posts

- Retired / released Army Officer of the Indian Armed Force of the rank of Captain or above, who has served as Commissioned Officer (other than honorary) for a period of at least 3 years. (Or) Graduate of a recognized university.
- Five years regular service as Company Commander in the Department of Home Guards & Civil Defence Organisation
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh

- Post Graduate Teachers (SPGT): 08 Posts
- A second class Master Degree in Hindi/English/History/Home Science/ from any recognized University with Hindi as one of the subject at the Graduation level.
- B.Ed. Special Education (Visually Impairment). (OR) Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (Visually Impairment) with B. Ed in General Education.
- Desirable: M.Ed. in Special Education
- At least two years teaching experience in the related field.
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
- Age: 45 years and below
- Drugs Inspector: 05 Posts
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a post Graduate
- Degree in Chemistry with pharmaceutics as essential subject of an University established in India by the Law or its equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Government for such purpose or the Associateship Diploma of the Institution of Chemists (India) obtained by passing the Examination with “Analysis of Drugs and pharmaceuticals” as one of the subject. (OR) Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Graduate in Medicine of an University recognized for this purpose by the appointing authority and has had at least one year’s post-graduate training in a laboratory under (i) a Government Analyst appointed under the Act, or (ii) a Chemical Examiner, or (iii) the head of an institution specifically approved for the purpose by the appointing authority, Provided that only those Inspectors.
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of H.P. and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh
- Age: Between 18 years to 45 years
- Assistant Engineer (Civil)/ Deputy Manager (Civil): 04 Posts
- Degree in Civil Engineering with 55% marks in case of SC/ ST/ internal HPPTCL candidates & for other categories 60% marks having passed the Degree from a recognized University/ Institution of India. AMIE shall be recognized qualification for internal candidates.
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in peculiar conditions prevailing in the state.
- Age: Between 18 years to 45 years

- Must possess degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from an institution / University recognized by the Central / State Govt.

- Research Officer: 01 Post
- Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Commerce (with Statistics) or its equivalent from a recognized University.
- Desirable: Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
- Age: 45 years and below
Examination Fee: Candidates have to pay of Rs. 400/- for General Category, Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/HP/OBC candidates through ‘e-Challan’ or through ‘e-Payment’ option.
