Name of the Posts: Medical Officer
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have possessed MBBS or equivalent Degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- The candidate must have a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical "Registration Rules 1965"; and
- Possessed required conversion certificates recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of candidate having Degrees from University of Foreign Countries.
Age Limit: Between 21 years to 32 years as on 01/01/2016
Application Fee: A candidate is required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable fee of Rs. 300/- only. Candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) of Odisha and Persons with Disability (whose disability is not less than 40%) are exempted from payment of this fee.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon) will be made on the basis of Written Test and Career Marking. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th class, 12th and M.B.B.S.) and 70% for written Test. The exam will be held at Cuttack.

After submission candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted online application form and put his/her signature under the Declaration for submission to O.P.S.C. along with copies of requisite certificates / documents and application fee (Printout of Online Challan) addressed to given below address by Registered Post / Speed Post.
