- B.Sc examination from recognized university or institution with Chemistry as one of the subject Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
- Ballistics:
- M.Sc. degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution.
- B.Sc. Examination from recognized university or institution with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subject.
- Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
- Photography:
- M.Sc. degree in any subject from a recognized university or institution and should possesses B.Sc. degree with one of the subject as physics.
- B.Sc. degree from recognized university or institution with Physics and two years diploma in Scientific Photography.
- Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
