GNFC is carrying out import of Raw Materials/Spares/ Fertilizers( for trading) and export of Chemical Products. Our imports are about Rs 200 crore per annum and exports are Rs. 10 crore per annum. Over and above this, approximately Rs. 1125 crore worth raw materials are determined on the basis of import parity pricing. The company has availed External Commercial Borrowing(ECB) of Euro 32.50 Million and is also regularly borrowing in foreign currency under buyer’s credit facility of about Rs 150-200 crore. The company is also planning to invest in overseas companies.

The incumbent should have post qualification experience of fire prevention / protection & fire fighting techniques in large Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Heavy Chemicals, Refinery Plants etc. He should have exposure in the areas like Rescue Operations, Maintenance and effective keep- up of Fire Tenders, Fire Protection Systems, Emergency Mitigation & Controlling, Training and Development to subordinates and MIS to management during emergency etc. He should be well conversant with various National / International Codes & Standards as well as statutory regulations related to fire safety activities and able to develop and improve fire safety attitudes/ culture in operating staff and operation related outside agencies. He should be able to carry out Fire Safety Audit periodically and suggest improvements to reduce the underlaying risk factors which would ensure effective fire prevention and fire protection. He should be able to strengthen disaster preparedness for effective response at all levels. The incumbents may be placed at the main site of the Company at Bharuch or at new project site at Dahej as per the requirement of the Company. In case of placement at Dahej Unit, the terms and conditions of Dahej Unit will be applicable to such incumbents.

The incumbents selected for trainee's post will have to execute a Trg.-cum-Service Agreement of 4 years. |
