- Qualification:
- have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination with science subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) from Higher Secondary Education Board recognised by the Government or possess an equivalent qualification recognised

- have passed two years' Radiotherapy (Radiation therapy) Technologist course or such other equivalent course from recognised Board/University/Institute with two years infield training in radiotherapy, approved by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Mumbai, or
- have obtained a bachelor's degree in science in Medical Radiotherapy Technology from recognised University or Institution with one year infield training in radiotherapy, approved by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Mumbai.
- possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
- possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
