The Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) is offering a Student Intern position for candidates currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Chemistry (1st or 2nd year). The internship is associated with an ANRF-funded POWER Project focusing on the design and functionalization of s-Heptazine-based systems for CO₂ utilization to synthesize valuable products like cyclic carbonates and polycarbonates. The selected intern will receive a consolidated stipend of ₹5,000 per month for a duration of two months.

Educational Qualification

M.Sc. in Chemistry pursuing (MSc 1st year/2nd year)
Job Description: Selected candidate will work on the ANRF-funded POWER project: “Functionalized s-Heptazine containing materials and their Applications in CO2 Utilization”. The main objective of this project is to construct s-Heptazine based systems and their functionalization (metal-free and metallated systems) for their applications as heterogeneous catalyst in the utilization of CO2 for various value added products like cyclic carbonates, polycarbonates and so on.

Age limit

Maximum 25 years as of the last date of application.

Selection Process

Only short-listed candidates will be asked to attend the interview through online mode (Skype or MS Teams). Details of the interview will be intimated to such candidates by e-mail. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
