Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal - GSSSB is inviting applications for 4,304 vacancies for Group A and B posts. The registration process begins today and will close on January 31. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website of GSSSB at gsssb.gujarat.gov.in. The recruitment aims to fill positions like Junior Clerk, Senior Clerk, Head Clerk, Office Assistant, and more. Out of the total vacancies, 2,018 are for Junior Clerk, 532 for Senior Clerk, 169 for Head Clerk posts in various departments, and 590 for Junior Clerk posts in Collect orates.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

Candidate should have completed their graduation from a recognised university.
Candidate should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both languages.
Should have basic knowledge of computer usage as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Service Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for Group-A & Group-B Posts will be based on the candidate’s performance in the online examination and document verification process. All those candidates who clear the Computer Based will be called to appear for the next phase of the selection process i.e. main examination followed by document verification.

GSSSB CCE 2024 Exam Pattern

Willing and eligible candidates who are going to apply online for GSSSB Recruitment 2024 and planning to prepare for the GSSSB CCE examination must know the exam pattern, type of questions, topics to be asked in the examination, and other details. GSSSB CCE Prelims Exam Pattern

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer in GSSSB CBRT Prelims Exam 2024.
The duration to complete the Computer Based Recruitment Test is 60 minutes (1 hour).
There would be 100 MCQs in the exam where 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.

Reasoning Ability - 40 Questions and 40 Marks
Quantitative Aptitude - 30 Questions and 30 Marks
English Language - 15 Questions and 15 Marks
Gujarati - 15 Questions and 15 Marks
Total - 100 Questions and 100 Marks
Duration - 1 hour (60 minutes)

GSSSB CCE Mains Exam Pattern

Only the candidates qualifying in the CCE prelims exam are eligible to appear for the Mains exam.
GSSSB Mains Exam is further divided into Group A and Group B
There will be 3 papers in Group A and 7 subjects in Group B.
Each exam is allotted a time duration of 3 hours separately in Group A, however, a cumulative time of 120 minutes is to solve CCE Group B Mains Exam 2024.
