Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University (or) any Equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government

Age limit

  • 20 to 30 Years

Application Fee

  • Rs. 600 /- for all others and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by the candidate

Selection Process

  • Candidates will be selected by Indian Bank through a selection process consisting of an online test (Preliminary and Main Examination) followed by Interview.
Indian Bank PO Exam Syllabus
  • Preliminary Exam:
    • The structure of the Preliminary Examination (objective type) which will be conducted online is as follows:
      • English Language: 30 Questions & 30 Marks
      • English Language: 35 Questions & 35 Marks
      • Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions & 35 Marks
      • Total: 100 Questions & 100 Marks
      • Duration: Composite time of 1 Hour
  • Main Exam
    • The structure of the Main Examination which will be conducted online is as follows:
      • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude: 45 Questions & 60 Marks (60 Minutes)
      • General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness: 40 Questions & 40 Marks (35 Minutes)
      • English Language: 35 Questions & 40 Marks (40 Minutes)
      • Data Analysis & Interpretation: 35 Questions & 60 Marks (45 Minutes)
      • Total: 155 Questions & 100 Marks (3 Hours)
      • English Language (Letter Writing & Essay): 2 Questions & 25 Marks (30 minutes)
  • Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination) There may be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question may be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there may be no penalty for that question.
  • Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Main examination may subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Bank.
