Eligibility

Educational qualification & Age limit:

PGT:

2 years integrate Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education or NCERT in the concerned subjects OR Master Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects.
B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

40 years

TGT:

4 years integrate Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education or NCERT in the concerned subjects OR Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects.
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-Ii, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for Purpose.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

35 years

PRT:

Sr Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent.
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for Purpose.
Competence to teach through Hindi and English medium

30 years

Application Fee: Rs. 750/-

Selection Process

Final selection will be based on written examination & Interview.

Scheme of Examination

PGTs: The written test will consist of one paper for PGTs separately, as under:

Part-I

General English: 20 Questions & 20 Marks
General Hindi: 20 Questions & 20 Marks

Part-II

Current Affairs: 20 Questions & 20 Marks
Reasoning and Numerical Ability: : 20 Questions & 20 Marks
Teaching Methodology: 20 Questions & 20 Marks
Subject concerned: 100 Questions & 100 Marks
Total Marks: 200 Questions & 200 Marks
Total Time: 3 Hrs.

TGTs & Primary Teachers: The written test will consist of one paper for TGTs (English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Maths, Social Studies, Science) and Primary Teacher separately, as under:
