Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

  • Assistant Director (Forensic Audit): Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Chartered Financial Analyst or Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Finance) or Masters in Business Administration (Finance), or Masters of Business Economics or Master’s in Commerce or Bachelor’s in Law. 
  • Assistant Registrar (Academic): Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. 
  • Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry): Master’s Degree in Chemistry / AIC by examination / Biochemistry / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University. 
  • Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics): Degree in Telecommunications/ Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Communications Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • Assistant Architect: (i) Degree in Architecture or an equivalent Diploma from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent (i.e Associate membership of the Indian Institute of Architects by examination). (ii) Should be registered with the Council of Architecture India. 
  • Associate Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Mathematics: (i) Good Academic record with a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics. (ii) A Master’s degree with at-least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). (iii) A minimum of Eight years of experience of teaching and/or research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a university, College or accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and/or research/policy papers. (iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. (v) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance based Appraisal System (PBAB), set out by the University Grant Commission. 
  • Associate Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Physics: (i) Good Academic record with a Ph.D. degree in Applied Physics. (ii) A Master’s degree with at-least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). (iii) A minimum of Eight years of experience of teaching and/or research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a university, College or accredited Research Institution/ Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of five publications as books and/or research/policy papers. (iv) Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. (v) A minimum score of 300 as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance based Appraisal System (PBAB), set out by the University Grant Commission. 
  • Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Mathematics: (i) Good Academic record as defined by concerned University with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in Applied Mathematics from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University. (ii) Passed the National Eligibility Test conducted by the University Grant Commission, CSIR or similar test accredited by the University Grant Commission like SLET/SET. (iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in (i) and (ii) above, the candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for the award of Ph.D. degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions. (iv) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such masters programme in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.

Age limit

  • Assistant Director (Forensic Audit) / Assistant Registrar (Academic) / Commercial Tax Officer: 30 years
  • Scientist ‘B’ (Chemistry) / Assistant Executive Engineer (Electronics) / Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Mathematics: 35 years
  • Assistant Architect / Assistant Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Physics: 40 years
  • Associate Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Mathematics: 50 years
  • Associate Professor (Non-Technical) Applied Physics: 55 years

Application Fee

  • The category-wise minimum level of suitability in interviews, irrespective of whether the selection is made only by interview or by Recruitment Test followed by interview, will be UR-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PH-40 marks, out of the total marks of interview being 100.
  • In cases where selection is made by Recruitment Test (RT) followed by interview, the candidate will have to achieve minimum level of suitability in their respective category at both stages i.e. ‘Recruitment Test’ as well as ‘Interview’. The minimum level of suitability in case of RT shall be decided by the Commission on case to case basis.
